Henry Ford was an industrialist that changed the world in the early 1900s, creating an assembly line that built quality automobiles that were affordable. Henry was light years ahead of his time. The Beatles were also groundbreakers in the music field; their music was distinctly unique and unheard until their arrival.
The two icons will meet as “The Magical History Tour: A Beatles Memorabilia Exhibition,” will run April 30-Sept. 18 at the Henry Ford Museum. Early Quarryman memorabilia, instruments, lyric sheets and more will be on display, and the Motor City is a perfect location for its first US stop.
The exhibit will feature a small mock up area of the Liverpool stage where they played in the early 60s, as well as the copy of “Double Fantasy” autographed by John Lennon for assassin Mark David Chapman.
