James Bay’s Tough Night

The 58th Annual Grammy Awards was a bittersweet night for many artists. On the one hand, it’s an honor just to be in attendance and up for an award. On the other hand though, these artists and bands are here because they want to win. Their competitive drive is part of what makes them an amazing performer, entertainer, singer, and/or songwriter.

James Bay was one of those that experienced a bittersweet night at the Grammys on Monday. He was nominated for three awards, but did not walk away with any piece of hardware. Bay fell short in the Best New Artist, Best Rock Album, and Best Rock Song awards.

You can’t get upset in the end if you’re Bay. You lost to three extremely talented acts (Meghan Trainor, Alabama Shakes, and Muse). With the amount of success that Bay has had in 2015, we expect a lot more to come from this talented artist.
