A Joey Feek Update

May the hand of God be placed on each of us as we ready our departure from this warm earth. May that day be far off however.

We know that the hand of God has been resting on Joey Feek’s shoulder for quite some time, as she battles through the last days of her life. It is with divine inspiration that we help celebrate the joy of a simple accomplishment; Joey and Rory’s first date was Valentine’s Day 2002, and the two of them were praying that she’d be here for this one.

The days are long and no longer filled with uncertainty, as Joey is sure she will climb clouds to heaven; she just doesn’t want to take that trip today though. Keep your fingers crossed tonight at the 58th Grammy celebration as Rory and Joey are nominated for the Best Country Duo/Group Performance of the year.
