How would you like to see the greatest band of all time for under a $5? When The Beatles played the Las Vegas Convention Center in 1964, fans paid $4 each for their ticket.

One of the watermark moments of the band was of course the Sgt. Peppers release, its music, and oddly enough the album covers. Did you know that 3 famous women appear (along with many others) on the Sgt. Peppers album? Marilyn Monroe, Shirley Temple and Mae West are on the classic cover. Mae West initially refused to give her permission to be in the cover, but relented after receiving a personal letter from the band, asking her to change her mind. Comedian Lenny Bruce, W. C. Fields, Shirley Temple, Albert Einstein, and 20’s western actor, Tm Mix, also appear on the cover.

Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band was the first album to feature lyrics on the back cover. Yes, the album broke barriers and musical direction for the Fab Four.
