Ham and eggs, peanut butter and jelly – some things were meant to go together. In music, one is the loneliest number, but it takes two to have a hit. Here’s part two of “Two of a Kind.”

Don Henley and Stevie Nicks set the world on fire with “Leather and Lace” in the days of classic rock and crossover pop.

Mickey and Sylvia was a soulful pair that sang the catchy song “Love is Strange.”

“Mockingbird” was made famous in the mid-70s, by then husband and wife Carly Simon and James Taylor. Inez and Charlie Foxx were the original singers of the song a decade earlier.

Elton John and Kiki Dee were wonderful with “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” in the mid-70s.

“Wake Up Little Susie” and a host of other Everly Bothers songs helped usher in rock ‘n roll in the late 50s and early 60s.
