On March 12 of 2016, Blake Shelton will be up for another award and this time it’ll be for the Favorite Male Vocalist award at Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Awards. He’ll be going up against many big time artists, but none from the country genre. Those also up for the award include Nick Jonas, Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, and Drake.
As the award show’s name suggests, the fans get to vote on the winners and there are many unique ways to do this. If you’re on your computer, you can head to www.Nick.com and vote there or you can log onto Twitter and use the #KCA hashtag along with your votes hashtag. If you’re on an iPad or iPhone, just use the Nick app to get your vote in.
With a new album hopefully coming by the end of the year, this award is just the first of many he could see in 2016.
