Christopher Walken se une al elenco de “Dune: Part Two”

Se acaba de anunciar que Christopher Walken, ganador del Premio de la Academia, se unirá a Timothée Chalamet y Zendaya en Dune: Part Two como el emperador Shaddam IV.

La secuela de la adaptación ganadora del Oscar del año pasado de la novela del mismo nombre de Frank Herbert comenzará a producirse este año.

“Acabo de recibir noticias de Legendary de que estamos avanzando oficialmente con ‘Dune: Part Two'”, reveló el director Denis Villeneuve en un comunicado. “Fue un sueño mío adaptar ‘Dune’ de Frank Herbert y tengo a los fanáticos, el elenco y el equipo, Legendary y Warner Bros. para agradecer por apoyar este sueño. Este es sólo el comienzo.”

La película, que también está protagonizada por Florence Pugh y Austin Butler además del regreso de Zendaya, Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin y Javier Bardem, ya tiene fecha de estreno en octubre de 2023.
