With a total of over five million fan votes, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ballot officially closed right before the weekend.

Eminem landed in the Top 3 alongside Duran Duran and Pat Benatar, collecting nearly 684,000 votes. Duran Duran received 934,000, and Benatar approximately 634,000.

Rounding out the Top 5 was the Eurythmics and Dolly Parton.

While the number of fan votes does not necessarily lead to the official induction, the top five artists selected by the public will be tallied along with the other ballots sent out to musicians, artists, and other influential figures in music to choose this year’s inductees.

Eminem was a fan-favorite right at the start, as he led the votes for a time during February.

The official Rock Hall Class of 2022 will be announced in May, with an induction ceremony following in the fall.
