Stars including John Mayer, Dave Chappelle, and Jeff Ross came together over the weekend to host a “punk rock Shiva” for late actor Bob Saget at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles, California.

“After Bob’s fancy funeral we threw him a small impromptu punk rock shiva upstairs at the @thecomedystore. We laughed and cried for four hours,” Ross wrote on social media under a few candid photos of the event. “Tonight we are doing it again in the Main Room for his friends and family.”

Seth Green, Jim Carrey, Chris Rock, and many of Saget’s Full House costars, including John Stamos and Jodie Sweetin, were also present, as were two of his daughters, Aubrey and Lara.

Ross, at the end of his post, asked for fans to “please donate” to the Scleroderma Research Foundation. Saget’s older sister, Gay, died from the “terrible disease” in 1996, and Saget was a big supporter of the charity after her death.

“Finding a cure is a mission that meant a lot to Bob personally,” added Ross.

While an autopsy report indicated that “there is no evidence of drug use or foul play” in Saget’s sudden passing, the cause of death is still being investigated.
