Like many festivals over the past few years, Boston Calling hasn’t taken place since pre-pandemic times, back in 2019. But now, the 2013-born event is returning to the East Coast with a lineup worth waiting for.

The three-day music festival, set to take place at the Harvard Atheltic Complex in Allston, Massachusetts, over Memorial Day Weekend this year, will be headlined by Foo Fighters on May 27th, The Strokes on May 28th, and Metallica on May 29th. Rage Against The Machine was previously on the bill, but the band recently bowed out of the event in addition to delaying their own tour until later in the summer.

Weezer, Cheap Trick, The Struts, Avril Lavigne, Run the Jewels, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard and grandson are among the other alternative, rock, indie, and hip-hop artists who will perform throughout the weekend.

Check out the official Boston Calling website for the full lineup and further details.
