Zayn Malik Allegedly Fights With Gigi Hadid’s Mom, Couple Breaks Up

After almost seven years of a romance gone hot and cold, Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid have called it quits. 

While the couple just welcomed baby Khai back in September of 2020, a Hadid family friend has confirmed that the two “are not together right now.” The source also said that they have agreed to co-parent. 

The drama began earlier this week, when an alleged physical fight between Malik and Yolanda Hadid, Gigi’s mother, made headlines. According to the reports, Malik struck Yolanda, and a police report was seriously considered. Malik did respond to the allegations, denying them as false, and saying that the incident “was and still should be a private matter.” 

“Gigi is solely focused on the best for Khai,” a representative for the 26-year-old model said on her behalf. “She asks for privacy during this time.”
