“Joy Division: A Celebration” North America Tour Announced

With 26 dates across the United States and Canada, Peter Hook & The Lights will honor Joy Division with a “Joy Division: A Celebration” tour in August and September of 2022.

Hook and his band will be reaching into the past to perform the British new wave icons’ two albums Unknown Pleasures and Closer. This will be Peter Hook & The Light’s biggest tour so far.

“The albums are played sequentially in track order,” the tour announcement states. The shows will also feature some rare Joy Division tracks, as well as some New Order material.

Tickets for the tour are officially on sale this Friday, October 22nd.
