The Highwomen’s “Crowded Table” Wins Grammy for Best Country Song

The Highwomen is a country music group composed of Brandi Carlile, Natalie Hemby, Maren Morris, and Amanda Shires, formed in 2016. The group’s self-titled debut album was released on September 6, 2019, by Elektra Records and was produced by Dave Cobb.

“Crowded Table” was written by Hemby, Carlile, and songwriting heavy hitter Lori McKenna, who has notched two Best Country Song Grammys for Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush” and Tim McGraw’s “Humble And Kind,” and was also behind A Star Is Born’s “Always Remember Us This Way.”
