Salma Hayek recently told reporters that the change in Hollywood has already taken place, with much work to do. Salma joined over 80 other women at the recent Cannes Film Festival to show their support for the #MeToo movement. She did however take the equality conversation to the next level by also adding that male stars should take a put if they see inequality on the set, adding it’s easy to say you support the movement, but harder to put their money where their activism is.

Salma was born in Coatzacoalcos, Mexico, and over the span of her career has received an Oscar and Primetime Emmy nomination, and earned a Daytime Emmy. Later this year she’ll appear in three movies that are currently in post-production with scheduled releases in 2018.
