7 Years Ago Kanye Interrupts Taylor

There are many moments in award show history that you just can’t forget and one of them is the time that Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift while on stage at the MTV VMAs and embarrassed her. That moment in award show history happened seven years ago! Can you believe that?

It was Sept. 13, 2009 and Taylor Swift was one of the hottest new artists in the world. She had just won the Best Female Video and likely felt on top of the world at that moment. Then all of a sudden Kanye West jumps on stage!

Beyonce was also up for the award and as we soon found out, he believed Beyonce should have won the award. He came on stage and told Taylor that he was happy for her but thought that Beyonce had released one of the greatest music videos of all time. What a crazy moment it was and if you blinked, you might have missed this crazy moment in award show history.
