2022 Women’s NCAA Basketball Final Four Set to Face-Off

The Final Four for the Women’s NCAA basketball tournament is finally set.

Yesterday, No. 1 seed Louisville Cardinals defeated No. seed 3 Michigan to advance to the Final Four in a 62-50 victory. This momentous win by the Cardinals displayed their ability to play team ball, while also being explosive on offense. The No. 1 seed Cardinals will face off against the No. 1 seed South Carolina Gamecocks on Friday, April 1st. Both teams will look to advance to the Championship Game.

In addition, No. 2 seed UCONN Huskies miraculously survived double overtime, as they defeated No. 1 seed North Carolina State Wolfpack, 91-87. Guard Paige Bueckers led the Huskies to a stunning victory by scoring 27 points throughout the night. The Huskies will now face the No. 1 seed Stanford Cardinal on April 1st. The Stanford Cardinal will look to defend their championship from last year as the jam-packed weekend approaches for basketball fans everywhere.
