The 2016 Soul Train Music Awards isn’t too far off, so of course we’re seeing information pertaining to the award show come out this week. The music world has learned that Erykah Badu will be hosting this year’s show, marking her second year in a row she will host this event.

There are too many awards to discuss, but as you can expect Drake leads the way with 12 nominations. Beyonce has a big night ahead of her as well, coming into the event with eight nominations. Let’s take a look at the two big awards for the night!

For Best R&B/Soul Female Artist you’re looking at Alicia Keys, Fantasia, Jill Scott, Rihanna and Beyonce all battling it out for the hardware. On the men’s side we see The Weeknd, Usher, Maxwell, Bryson Tiller and Anthony Hamilton up for the award.

The show will be filmed on November 7 before being shown to the public on November 27!
