The music scene in 1975 was an unusual one – early disco, folk rock (primarily Eagles) and bands named Lynyrd Skynyrd, British and Beach Boys were on the charts. 1975 was the early years for superegos Bad Company, Queen, Foreigner, Heart, ZZ Top and David Bowie. Imagine a year where in your car, you might hear the Carpenters followed by Alice Cooper back to back! Here is an interesting song from 1975…

The boys in this band first began making money as a group called ‘Smile.’ They were from London, each bringing various musical styles and disciplines to the table. Brian, Roger, John and a young lad from Tanzania named Farrokh hit the charts about a high class call girl. The song “Killer Queen” was their breakthrough hit for radio play in the US, bringing success to the otherwise UK only known ban ‘Queen,’
