Last night was an exciting night in the NBA!

The Toronto Raptors defeated the Charlotte Hornets, 116-101, while the Miami Heat beat the Washington Wizards, 121-100.

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder, 110-98, and the Utah Jazz won against the New York Knicks, 113-104.

The most thrilling victory of last night went to the visiting Phoenix Suns, as they defeated the Chicago Bulls, 127-124.

In football news, the final two vacant head coaching jobs were filled yesterday.

The Houston Texans promoted their current defensive coordinator, Lovie Smith, to their head coach position. The New Orleans Saints did similarly, as they promoted their defensive coordinator, Dennis Allen, into a permanent head coaching role.
